Raymond and his first wife, Ada and his second wife, Mildred

Raymond Ernest Hazle left his home in England in 1914 to start a new life in Canada for himself and his family. He was born May 21, 1874 in London, to Joseph and Eliza (Baker) Hazle. His family was very well-to-do and he was raised as a gentleman. He was brought up in the Westminster Abbey church school and sang in the choir at the Abbey. He was very much a product of his times.
