Our Story:
Martin and Ellen Pedersen Family History

This is the story of our parents, Martin and Ellen Pedersen, who emigrated from Denmark to Saskatchewan in 1927. Their story is one of hardship, of commitment to a better life, and of a family bound by strong ties of love and support for each other.

Our father, Martin Lassen Pedersen was born April 3, 1895, to Peter and Johanne (Lassen) Pedersen. He had two sisters and one brother. They lived in a fine, 200 year old home on the family farm in North Jutland only four kilometres from the west coast of Denmark.  ...more Story
