Our Story:
St. Gertrude's Church, the original church of the Lestock parish, was built in 1924. The practice of having prayers and devotions to Mary, Queen of All Hearts was officially approved by Archbishop P. J. Monahan on June 9, 1942. The statue of Mary, Queen of All Hearts was installed in the church a year later on June 17.
The parish celebrated its Silver Jubilee on October 12, 1949 with the blessing of the new church by Archbishop M. C. O'Neill. This new church received its present title of Mary. Queen of All Hearts, ...more Story
