Shrine La Loche: Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine 1954

Our Story:
This grotto was built during the centennial celebration of the appearance of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Bernadette Soubirous in France. It was built by the local people of the village under the direction of Brother I Alfred Dionne, OMI. The shrine was blessed on October 7, the Feast of the Holy Rosary, that same year.

During the summer, especially at night, people come to the grotto to recite the rosary.
