Introduction

Winning the Prairie Gamble: The Saskatchewan Story is the theme for innovative WDM exhibits planned to celebrate Saskatchewan's Centennial in 2005. These new interactive exhibits at WDM branches in Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Saskatoon and Yorkton will showcase a century of change in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan is home to incredible grassroots stories of accomplishment and hardship, adversity and success, inspiration and innovation. The Family History Album, a fundraising initiative in support of the centennial exhibits, will preserve these stories for the future. The WDM offers you an opportunity to participate in the 2005 centennial celebration by supporting the WDM financially and by donating your family story to the WDM Family History Album.

The Album will be an electronic enduring tribute to you and your family's part in building our province. A special space is being set aside at each of the four WDM exhibit branches where the names of people and businesses that contribute their stories to the Album will be inscribed. At these Heritage Sites, viewing your story, or others, in the Family History Album will be as simple as touching the screen of a computer terminal!
