Donate Your Family History: Sending the story to WDM

If you prefer to mail or e-mail your story to the WDM, you can request the Family History Album kit that contains information to help you submit your story, or you may print a copy of the Family History Album Writing Guidelines here. Just fill in the details and send it back along with your story, images and $500 gift.

The story text can be supplied to WDM in handwritten, typewritten or digital formats, and images can be sent in digital on non-digital form.

Please understand that:

• images you send are a gift to the WDM
• images become part of the WDM's reference collection and may be used for research, exhibit, publication or any other way the WDM deems to be appropriate
• images will be returned to you ONLY when a request is made at the time images are submitted
• before they are returned, images will be copied and kept in the WDM reference collection
• you must include a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage for the return of images
